For some reason every second conversation in the last week has eventually led to someone mentioning a basement. I’m currently modeling one for a client and will start working on it shortly, another friend has half of his masterpiece complete while still another has been told ever so kindly to FFB (Finish the F’ing Basement).

Basements go hand in hand with ‘concrete’ and ‘below grade’. What that generally means in our wonderful climate is the need to construct a space that will be warm, quiet and most importantly dry.
With all that in mind here are a few basement related products and sites.

OvrX - Baricade modular panel system
While neither of the subfloor products are free of even close to being low-VOC, you could seal the OSB panels with a product like AFM Safecoat SafeSeal to lock in the panel’s toxic off gassing.
