Made my daily trek to the local HD yesterday and looky looky. Quebec’s home renovation warehouse was shut down due to snow loading on the roof. Ha. I was surprised that Réno’s marketing crew weren’t in the lot shooting snaps and sending the dozens of customers down the road for their supply needs.

Montreal’s fire inspector was on site and the entire site was taped off. Later on that evening a crew were on the roof shoveling the mountains into the parking lot below. Did this make the news? I would say it was pretty embarrassing. Not something you’d like to advertise when you try and upsell roofing materials with “Home Depot installation available!” Umm no thanks.
Update: Store is open to public today (Friday March 14), just pray everything holds together since there are about 30 people working on top of and around the store clearing the snow off the rooftop.

-can you see the peeps?
