I don’t think they’ll let this PR nightmare continue past San Fran. Although the homeland media apparently has been spinning it as a western failure of security. Pity the poor saps that signed up ages ago to run with the torch to fulfill a dream only to have it whisked away mid step. But pity not the nation that promised to clean up it’s human rights record to attain the ‘honour’ of hosting the games.
