Q How do you think foreign policy of the U. S. would shift direction under either candidate?
A Senator Obama has made a number of announcements of what changes he would make, such as negotiating at a summit level with a number of adversaries, and establishing a fixed deadline for withdrawal from Iraq. Senator McCain, I think there would be differences in emphasis. He believes that in order to have a negotiated outcome in Iraq you should not give a deadline.? Senator McCain would have significant changes in emphasis, but I don’t want to go into [that].
