After the absurd use of water tankers dumping millions of litres (of potable water?) onto our parched asphalt as a form of cleansing, this pales in comparison. Yet it still requires a look.
Poorly designed, poorly placed, poorly timed. Just poor. Or better yet…pour.

-30C and windy, these plants were probably still thirsty after today’s wastage.

Limited irrigation combined with well mulched planters filled with a drought resistant flora should be the standard in Montreal. These annuals are just planted as make work, and then they die.

It astonishes me to see that. Every time! What a waste of water! As my father-in-law so beautifully says it (with his Christian twist! Ha ha!): “God will decide when to water my lawn”. The city should really be more careful with their use of our precious potable water! Nicely put bro!
