Been a while since I’ve traveled on an expense account. Hopping off the ‘rental car’ shuttle and searching for my name digitally splayed on a board in the middle of a giant parking lot. Oooh nice, section BA8. Walk on over and choose a four wheeled companion for the week. Nope, don’t miss that a […]

Taking a cue from a great post entitled “This Store Blows” over at Racked.com… I present to you the 514 version. Here’s their concept:
Come summer, you see retailers around the city leaving the doors of their stores propped wide open in the hopes of enticing shoppers in with blasts of frigid air conditioning. In protest […]

-Jean-Sebastien Peron - SEPAQ
I’m not a beach fan, but the little guy loves the sand…what’s a father to do? Here are a few local beaches to visit. I have to admit, Oka beach intrigues me and it has nothing to do with the possibility of seeing nudists in ‘action’. Sucks that we live on an […]

After the absurd use of water tankers dumping millions of litres (of potable water?) onto our parched asphalt as a form of cleansing, this pales in comparison. Yet it still requires a look.
Poorly designed, poorly placed, poorly timed. Just poor. Or better yet…pour.
-30C and windy, these plants were probably still thirsty after today’s wastage.
