We’re attempting to create list of organic farms within a 100 km radius of Montreal. Help add to this list if you know of any we are missing. Send to info@green514.com.

Some farms have market stalls in the spring summer and fall, others provide food baskets that you probably need to pre-order.  For the best information in that regard check out Equiterre’s Community Supported Agriculture site.

(Distance is from the corner of Berri and the 720… google maps thinks that is the centre of Montreal, go figure)

Ferme du Zéphyr is an organic farm owned and operated by Stephen Homer, who is in his ninth year of producing organic vegetables in the Montreal area.

44.1km - Ile Perot, Qc - Windmill Point Farm
Offering a gamut of fruits and veggies (oooh organic potatoes)

Drop by for Saturday Farmers Market (May through December), 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (in our newly renovated shop) to purchase a wide selection of vegetables and fruit, along with an abundance of products, such as organic coffee, tea and honey.

74.5km - Huntingdon, Qc - Boucherie Valens
Not a farm, but specializes in processing and distribution of organic meats.

100km - Waterloo, Qc - Gereli Farm
Offering Organic Beef, Lamb, Veal and Maple Syrup.

Just outside the wire…

115km - Yamachiche, Qc - Ferme la Crépescule
Offering chicken, beef and other tender morsels.

160km - Compton, Qc - Beurrerie du Patrimoine
Offering primarily dairy products - Organic Milk, Cottage Cheese, Butter, Yoghurt
